Original oil pastel painting on handmade paper, featuring embroidered accents, displayed in a wooden bobbin frame (included in purchase). This piece is part of my Painted Textiles collection, an exploration collection showcasing methods of intertwining different elements of sewing into my oil pastel paintings.
Frame size 9×9”. Title of piece & artist signature handwritten on reverse.
Because the paper canvas is made by hand, it is not perfectly flat and has slight curves/bends along its surface, which is a natural characteristic of the material and the handmade process.
To ensure the pastel is well-preserved, a fixative has been spray applied.
