Are the frames shown in the ORIGINAL ARTWORK images included in the purchase? YES!

Do the picture frames have a glass covering? Not always. The glass must be convex to not press against the pastels. If the frame has convex glass, the glass will be used and included in purchase (it will be noted, in the description of the item, if the frame has glass).

Oil pastels never fully dry; they do harden more and more over time. Once I complete a painting, I allow the piece to settle for 24-hours, and then I spray the painting with 3 coats of fixative. The fixative helps lock in the pastel, preventing dust & moisture from sticking to the painting.

No: While fur may land on paintings, the fur will never permanently stick! This is thanks to spray fixative applied to all of my works.

Personally, I have 3 cats and 2 dogs; If I notice a piece of fur has landed on one of my paintings, I will simply blow a bit towards the surface of the painting, and the fur will simply blow away!

If concerned, I recommend avoiding areas that are in direct sunlight (across from a window that receives direct sunlight), as well as rooms that fluctuate in temperature/humidity (e.g. bathrooms, kitchens).

Personally, I have an original oil pastel painting that is displayed in my bathroom (which has a shower). The painting has had no issues over the past 5 years!

Yes! I am located in Southeast Michigan, and we are known for ALL types of weather (from strong winters, to hot/dry/humid summers). With that said, the fixative I spray apply to all of my works helps the oil pastels withstand all types of climates.

Returns/exchanges are only accepted if items arrive damaged or incorrect. Returns are only accepted if they are requested within 14 calendar days after receiving your order.
